For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, unless otherwise noted, all references to ReKonnect® by ConnectSocial® Inc include www.rekonnect.one. The ReKonnect® application is a Social Network application. By using the ReKonnect® application, you consent to the data practices described in this statement.

ReKonnect® collects and uses your personal information to operate and deliver the services you have requested.

Collection of your Personal Information

In order to better provide you with products and services offered, ReKonnect® may collect personally identifiable information, such as your:

We request location permission to get current location/address and create ride and request/search/ join nearby ride with pickup and drop location, we access , collect user location not to share with any third party.

Personal Information

Name : for user identification in app

Email address: : to send mail to user also to unique authentication/identification

Address: to deliver physical goods / and for ride service

Phone number: to authenticate users reachable contact number for OTP.

Other info: DOB and gender collected just as user info on registration.

Financial info

Google in app purchase for monthly and yearly subscriptions, Gpay, Google Pay, UPI ID for UPI based payment to purchase paid news , movie, music.

Business email ID collected which is link with PayPal to become seller to sell product so user pay to content owners and purchase history to show the transaction id and other payment history detail for above payment

Messages

Emails : will send email to user as newly register ,OTP authentication , subscription purchase etc for this purpose we collect user email from user while registering.

SMS or MMS :will send OTP through SMS for user authentication

Other in-app messages: we send in app notification through firebase

Photos and Videos , Media files

We open user gallery i.e internal / external storage to collect user photo video, pick photo from storage and upload to our server pick video from storage and upload to our server.

Camera

We request CAMERA access for users to take photo or record video.

Audio Files

Voice or sound recordings : in chat able to send recorded audio

Music files : access local music file in music module to show local music file and also able to upload the file to our server.

Files and Docs , Media files

We access user docx, pdf, excel type of document in job module to upload their resume and in chat module to send the pdf ,doc, excel ,image files.

Contacts and Phone

We access the user contact /phone list for users to share their contact in chat and send invitation to join their network. And allow a calling application which manages its own calls to check status of on going or incoming calls.

App info and performance

Crash logs : we integrated firebase to collect app performance data

Diagnostics :we integrate analytics to get analytics of app

Device or other IDs

To check if you are connected to internet network (Wi-Fi, GPRS, UMTS, etc.)

Sharing Information with Third Parties

ReKonnect® does not sell, rent or lease its customer lists to third parties.

ReKonnect® may share data with trusted partners to help perform statistical analysis, send you email, provide customer support, or arrange for deliveries. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to ReKonnect®, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.

ReKonnect® may disclose your personal information, without notice, if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on ReKonnect® or the site; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of ReKonnect®; and/or (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of ReKonnect®, or the public.

Right to Deletion

Subject to certain exceptions set out below, on receipt of a verifiable request from you, we will:

  • Delete your personal information from our records; and
  • Direct any service providers to delete your personal information from their records.

Please note that we may not be able to comply with requests to delete your personal information if it is necessary to:

  • Complete the transaction for which the personal information was collected, fulfil the terms of a written warranty or product recall conducted in accordance with federal law, provide a good or service requested by you, or reasonably anticipated within the context of our ongoing business relationship with you, or otherwise perform a contract between you and us;

  • Engage in public or peer-reviewed scientific, historical, or statistical research in the public interest that adheres to all other applicable ethics and privacy laws, when our deletion of the information is likely to render impossible or seriously impair the achievement of such research, provided we have obtained your informed consent;
  • Enable solely internal uses that are reasonably aligned with your expectations based on your relationship with us;
  • Comply with an existing legal obligation; or
  • Otherwise use your personal information, internally, in a lawful manner that is compatible with the context in which you provided the information.
Children Under Thirteen

ReKonnect® does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen. If you are under the age of thirteen, you must ask your parent or guardian for permission to use this application.

E-mail Communications

From time to time, ReKonnect® may contact you via email for the purpose of providing announcements, promotional offers, alerts, confirmations, surveys, and/or other general communication.

External Data Storage Sites

We may store your data on servers provided by third party hosting vendors with whom we have contracted.

Changes to this Statement

ReKonnect® reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your account, by placing a prominent notice on our application, and/or by updating any privacy information. Your continued use of the application and/or Services available after such modifications will constitute your: (a) acknowledgment of the modified Privacy Policy; and (b) agreement to abide and be bound by that Policy.
